I’m glad you mentioned how things no longer have design. While I can appreciate ornate, antique styles, as well as modernism, as a designer, I’m fully aware that things have simply become a grey box. Although I’m an introvert, I’ve become more of an introvert, and a misanthropist, as I’ve aged. I don’t think it’s only that my life is dull and isolated, but that so much has become hella uninteresting. I think younger people live such unsexy lives and their lives are not too different from my own, of go to work, go home. This binary or two-dimensional dullness and I’m supposed to maintain a good mood? How TF does one do that? Oh, yes, because someone two-dimensional narc said I have to. I’m the oldest Gen X and I likely belong to the first generation, who SURELY doesn’t want to be younger! And, despite understanding the implications of AI, I am enjoying using it, on the personal level, for image and legal uses, but, whatever a crater that’s being left for the human being!
But, the right isn’t the solution, however. And, if they’ve never proven it before, they surely have now. Because they’re taking one heaping, steamy 💩 on even their own constituents.
