Wouldn't it be funny if our collective fear or AI turns AI against us?
Personally, I view AI as the next step in a natural progression of things. 50% chance it will destroy us, 50% chance it will save us. With the present status quo of humanity, we are doomed without intervention, worst case AI just speeds things up a bit.
