To get part of the "will AI replace jobs?" answer, look at reality TV.
Making scripted television is expensive. Making reality TV is cheaper. Reality TV isn't as good. Maybe scripted TV is five times better than reality TV, gets five times as many viewers or subscriptions or advertising dollars or whatever. But if they can make six reality TV shows for the price of one scripted show, they come out ahead.
AI is the exact same thing. It doesn't need to be better than you at your job to take your job. It doesn't even need to be as good. All it needs is to be just barely good enough most of the time and a whole lot cheaper than you.
And that mindset is going to make so many things so much worse so quickly.
