Self-driving cars are just the tech bro version of trains. They're trying to reinvent something that already exists and works really well, but in one of the worst possible ways. Cars are big, dangerous, expensive, inefficient, unpredictable, etc. Trains are big and expensive, but very safe, very efficient, and very predictable. We need to heavily advocate for proper public transit and cycling networks. It should be just as easy to travel without a car as it is with a car.
