You guys are so one-sided lol. Most logical human being with any sort of sympathy and critical thinking would sacrifice 10%-30% of unemployment "temporarily" for cheaper energy, medicine, longer "healthspan" or even reverse ageing, cheaper everything and more free time and prosperity. RIGHT NOW, people are suffering from diseases, poverty and mental issues all over the world. We got a moral obligation to lift those human beings out of the shit that no one should be experiencing just because they were born in the wrong place. He's warning ya'll the downsides so the impact would be mitigated while the upside remains the same. There is no contradiction. And no, when AI surpasses human intellgence, it would not be "working" for anyone or any entity. It would be god-like and we just hope that we aligned it right so it doesn't destroy us.
