So I agree with most of your points, but to say there are no use cases for Gen AI or that the cost of art is in the paper pens is a little silly. The bulk of the cost of art is in the person you are paying to do the art and the licensing to use works created by artists. Current AI offering can reduce these costs. A clear use case is in marketing.
The much stronger arguement is to focus on is the ethics. The stolen aspect of the training data is the elephant in the room slowing down industry. Industries are finding benefits to using Gen AI.
