It's weird how people are so attached to the premise that AI is... a person. A person who "takes inspiration" (or "makes art" in the first place.) The best thing you can say about "AI Art (tm)" is that it "outputs imagery."
Imagine somebody put these people in front of a trolley problem: You can either make one person's day happier or you can have 20 AI's simulate happiness, which one do you choose??
