These dystopian shows are so far fetched. What will actually happen if the majority of jobs are obsolete is mass instability, famine, death and war.
The wealthly elite takes a bigger share year over year as it is. imagine if they didn't need you at all, you will get nothing.
I hope we can adapt to live with AI and live normal lives, but the doomer in me feels like the world is going to get real bad real fast when true sentient AI is unleashed.
