Artists copy each other's work all the time to train themselves... An AI is only different in that it can be WAY more prolific than a human artist.
Intellectual property is a social construct intended to make art accessible for the masses, it explicitly allows derivative works to be created and offers ZERO protection people or machines being inspired by your art.
If it were stealing, you'd be able to get an LLM to produce a 1:1 copy of an artist's work... but you can't. Nobody has, and I doubt it's even possible.
