Classic AI hype - "If we just add enough transistors, the computer will become conscious!" Current AI hype - "If we just add enough parameters, the computer will become conscious!". In the end it's mostly word games - I can claim the thermostat on the wall is conscious because it "feels" the temperature and "wants" to turn on the heat but does not mean that is equal to the experience of how a mind interprets the same thing.
