People who ask if AI can be conscious are, in my opinion, unqualified to talk about AI in any significant way, asking if AI can be concious is the same as asking if a mathematical formula or a math equation can be concious, becaise that's what it is, AI is nothing else than an absolute ton of vector/matrix/tensor multiplications that calculate words as output from words as input, give an AI the same input with the same seed and it will always reaponf the same thing
