One major obstacle is traffic and intersections. I’ve read where there will be a light besides red yellow and green. It will be a white light and when it’s active it means ai vehicles have control of that intersection. Now how where and when that becomes a reality is not if but when. Now that’s going to take reconstruction of all intersection lights and the does the don’t must also be addressed in every states drivers education books and those two in them selves is going to take a major major undertaking and understanding and those self driving or ai taxi or ai transportation vehicles must be seriously fined tuned so when they come to a intersection take control of the intersections traffic there must be zero mistakes and or glitches. Some intersections have 4to5 if not more lanes of traffic in one direction and that’s slot of cars trucks motorbikes semis and walking and bicycling traffic.
