So Overall Self Driving Cars are bad, better mass transit is the actual solution to any transit issues we have right now. Supporting Waymo is not actually helping with that goal as they are directly opposed to mass transit and would prefer if people only drove around in their vehicles so take public transit whenever you are able so that money goes into that system instead of with a private corporation whose goal is to takeover your city. And don't be fooled by the cheap prices right now they are subsidized by venture capitalist who expect a large return on investment in the future. they absolutely have the goal to overtake uber, Lyft and taxis by arguing self driving is safer and then will jack up the prices as high as possible even force you into a subscription if they can.
