As someone who actually works tech support and warranty over the phone this is not remotely worrying. While a.i. can perform basic functions it will be a long time before it will understand things like consumer protection laws. There’s legal nuance to doing things over the phone. If an A.I gives someone the wrong account number or someone else protected info that’s an open and shut lawsuit
