Disabled artist here as well. Different though, I'm a writer. I have autism, ADHD, OCD, Depression, and some physical disabilities as well. I personally use AI as a tool to help when reddit doesn't have a specific resource or when I need a slew of names for something very niche or specific. So, as I say to everyone about my opinion on using AI to ""write"". It's a great TOOL. It's a great tool when your other resources can't help you (reddit, medical papers, Pinterest). It's also very good at not being biased if you need help with tone or if you need help with different perspectives if you don't have friends or people willing to help you out with corrections and advice. It can even help with grammar and punctuation. IT IS NOT A GOOD WRITING TOOL ITSELF!!! It is insulting for people to claim it helps disabled people when it's slop. At a glance, it looks decent, but when you get into the reading headspace, you can quickly understand why AI is bad when it's used to plagiarize. AI has helped me a lot with road block or how something specifically works or some names for creations when i have gadgets that combine steampunk and cyberpunk elements. As long as you can be seen in your creation, it is a great TOOL.
