Turns out is was humanity who was the monster all along. We pretend that our species is kind and empathetic, but in reality it is human greed and selfishness that drives the historical record... the story of humanity is nothing but an endless repetition of conquest, manipulation, power, and exploitation, and this is the input, who we are and how we behave, that we are feeding to AI and telling it to replicate. Everyone who acts shocked and pretends the machine, not the master who created it, is the monster is being disingenuous. Let's be very honest here... we will deserve what is coming because if you don't practice what you preach then you get what you give.
