19:12 re: AI and academic jobs - coming at this as a cognitive science PhD student, recently overheard 2 of the senior faculty in my department talking about generative AI, one of them particularly focused on the AI space. The AI tool of discussion (Google's?) was the one that makes a 40-minute podcast summary of an inputted scientific paper/idea. They expressed simultaneous awe and nerves at the ability of this feature to generate tenable scientific ideas as they might. They are both full professors (there are ranks to being a professor) and some of the more famous people in my field. I don't think academics are safe.
