using AI to create a biological seems impractical one we already have virus we could use for that and 2) we have gain function procedures already 3) while AI might give you the parameters for creating a possible viable virus, all this does is to eliminate some of the trial and error it still requires people with a lot of skill create a new deadly virus. I think number 3 is the most important skill people with the desire to do such a thing is what have saved us. The groups that fit that skill make up was the soviet Union(but even they would have moral limits) and China they frequently breed humans with no moral limits but so far have been somewhat incompetent and stupid at times, Muslim extremists would have done it but skill is somewhat out of their reach. the other option is accidental creation
