So I got my degree in CompE where the lqnguagea to learn were C,C++& Java. did IT waaaay back when taught myselt html, some javascript. I do ai-assisted coding for my sites and some apps becauae i've forgotten a lot.but I remember enough to realize that AI will repeats the mistake and tells you it's a correction.😂 I push back on AI coding so much that I'm used to it. And this is only html/css/javascript. Just like in college, I get frustrated and curse out the screen and this is WITH AI! There is NO WAY I would get rid of SoftDevs, SoftEng,Network Architects, etc, for AI. Even before the layoffs. Why are C-suite managers so idiotic and clueless? If I were these ex employees, I'd start a company to fix the problems these companies have. AI needs human oversight. It needs the pushback and correction. Chatgpt coding was the worst. The hallucinations were horrible and the memory was ridiculous. I find deepseek much better, even though it has its issues.
