As much as I hate to say this, you mentioned a lot of gaps and gray areas within your job. Now imagine a sophisticated machine that has the knowledge of everyone in the field plus some that can also be reproduced by the thousands. Top it off with no breaks, working 24/7, no sick leave, paid vacation, doesn't get tired, etc.
The more we use AI to help us, also means we're teaching it. The more we use it for own purposes, the more it learns its purpose. Just like humans having kids. We teach them, have them help around the house, they take care of themselves, eventually coming back around to help their parents who have aged. This will likely be us as a species someday, except we'll have the option to merge.
