As a visual designer, I've jumped on the generative AI image trend, but it was good to get a further explanation of how stable diffusion models works. Working for a leading Silicon Valley company in social media analytics, I will say it's scary how many AI pictures are proliferating on Facebook, with so many commenters not realizing they're fake. Most of them are just for page engagement rankings, but I remember how the "Macedonian Teens" made so much $ from creating fake news articles targeting outraged conservatives back in 2016 and what they could do with today's AI.
