Just want to point out that actual A.I. doesn't exists yet. What we're seeing here is a marketing label on a pre-existing discipline that's Machine Learning (or ML) and the commercialization of the technology that's been used for some time now (such as in the creative fields). What's being sold to people is destructive not because of what ML can achieve or improve lives but rather the idea that people who've bought into the Futurism ideology are just capitalizing on how much money they could make before it devalues at the cost of industries and any personnel.
It is why they're lobbying hard for AI to not get regulated, it's why creatives have been against the unethical move and the good thing here is that more of the average consumer is now realizing the destructive implication of this AI being marketed is doing to the world.
