In a world where 1% of the population owns more than 50% of all the wealth, it's completely disingenuous to say AI will increase society's prosperity. It could, if we all owned and shared the value produced by labour, but that isn't the case. AI will create greater prosperity for a wealthy class that is already so fattened and gorged on mega-profits, not society as a whole.
