I look at it this way. An Artist's work is his own. In order for another to replicate that work he needs to put time and effort into recreating this work. To me this is a sign of respect and if I were an artist I would see this effort as payment for the "Copying" of my work. The fact it takes mere seconds for AI to replicate the style to me is disrespectful and unjust. Personally Artist should be entitled to some form of copyright style protection against AI generated art. This way we protect the art of creating art ourselves. Obviously it is much more complicated, but I see no value in AI generated art.
