AI is an overly complex, nondeterministic system, with a high degree of randomness baked in and unpredictable behaviour (unlike a tool). What for had similar systems been used in the past? For divination. You can call AI a divination machine and AI used as an authority technomancy or something similar. Of course, people that believe in Jesus know that divination is a sin, and opens door for fallen spirits, also known as demons (the aliens those tech people are talking about).
