I think its worthy to note that the new Pope of the Catholic Church has expressed that AI is his major focus of concern. Every Pope heads the church with some new concerning issue facing the world, be that war or politics or something else. Pope Francis for example addressed climate change and social justice issues, which no doubt had been the focal points in many ways the last ten or so years.
