There is a legal way to do "ai" art. It just wont make a few programmers into mega millionaires.
We're trading off millions of artists' livelihood so a worse avenue of art can make a small cluster of late to the game programmers into wealthy assholes.
Once people cant afford to spend time on art (by selling that art production time to lesser products) fewer people will grow their artistic skills. Ill tell ya, spending 40-60 hours a week not doing art just do stay alive sure doesnt help people do art more.
