As an actual artist, I know people who use AI to do images for personal and private use, and have asked me to edit stuff for them.
You very quickly realize no AI will ever substitute skill. "Hey this feels off and I don't know why, can you help?"
The shading is off and literally just adding shading in the front and a rim light makes it better.
"Can you fix this hand?"
Literally just copypaste the finger and put it over the spot.
"This has three legs :("
Just a bit of editing and bam, fixed.
It really makes you realize no matter how good AI gets, it will never replace knowledge and skills since it just samples from and regurgitates the work of others without understanding the techniques of the work itself.
