All these giant corporations are racing to creat this super intelligent AI to govern everything but the problem is it will come at the expence of a societal breakdown.
Once you attain all the power you very soon realise you are left with nothing.
Just the shattering impact AI is, and will, have on employment should be a reason to slam the brakes on AI, but the long term outcomes are being ignored by humanity as usual.
