The problem are the salesman selling the hype to the accountants. AI is a productivity tool like the forklift or the circular saw. It is not a humanoid robot that will do the work for you. Right now it is a tool that takes the load off of the human operator and allows for people with less skills to do the work and for those with the skills to get even more done. If kept in that context, then it is a great tool especially if you understand AI limitations.
