To be fair to Gary from Nerdrotic, he absolutely loves George RR Martin and the Games of Thrones books, but he has a bee in his bonnet that George seems to be doing anything else but finish the series. He believes (wrongly imho) that if an author starts a series, they have a duty to readers to finish it. His point about AI is that if some artists don't respect their fans as much as their fans respect them, there's a risk that AI will begin to fill that gap - I don't think he's pro-AI at all (certainly not like Shad, who is a huge grifter). It's not a terribly strong hypothesis, but there you go. Gary has an interesting perspective, being an ex con and a recovering drug addict - and former comic book shop owner. He seems most critical of corporations like Disney - i haven't really heard him speak too much on independent artists, or AI for that matter.
