Very scary situation thinking abt not having AI safety guard rails in place. That said, no one can stop AI's evolution but one thing we can control is to teach humans about growing up with values, morals/ethics and stuff so as not to fall for the greed factor and villainy instincts to control universe or harm fellow humans and planet Earth.
It boils down to teaching humans about value of morals and ethics, being compassionate and protect mother nature at any cost.
