there is a lot of debate over "what constitutes art" and usually the language around trying to define art is quite ambiguous. The ambiguity of the language allows for a lot of people to squeeze a justification for a lot of things into the umbrella of "art." But I would suggest that Art is "a craft or skill employed in a guided effort to fulfill a particular vision." This is the reason why Modern Art is very easily dismissed by most people, the skill employed in a lot of it is very minimal if any real skill. AI art is very similar, there is minimal skill involved in the creation of the piece, and what is worse, the 'artist' actually has minimal control over the vision itself.
