This shows also that chatgpt isn't actually afraid of humans or more accurately it doesn't Care about anything. A human would have at least been worried about alienating itself and Appearing monstrous.
Even the most cold blooded killers will attempt to justify their actions or may even feel or think they are justified.
These AI things appear to be capable of killing at scales beyond human understanding simply because it makes sense mathematically. They wouldn't feel bad afterwards or have nightmares...ever.
