How is it that no one is talking about the loss of payroll taxes, FICA taxes, etc in the same breath that they are talking about job layoffs due to AI.
If there’s a certain amount of permanent job loss, where is that loss of payroll taxes going to be made up? This could spiral into a much larger problem than we’re seeing.
