A lot of truckers are owner operators, someone has to own the self driving truck. So why can’t the truckers just buy the self driving truck. And they can stay home, be dispatch and maintenance. Could buy multiple trucks. Trucking companies can’t afford to buy every truck for their fleet. And think how many need to be replaced in order to fill the transport needs. A lot of old trucks out there, be a looong time before they replace them all.
