Brandon, I hope you don't mind if I say... I'm an atheist, and yes, sometimes you've said things that I've respectfully disagreed with in regards to the human spirit and so on.
But when you talk about AI being unable to replicate the human's individualistic creative spark, I couldn't agree with you more. You said "this might just be me being English major-y" and stuff like that, but I don't think you need a disclaimer. You're spot on. Each person's individual experiences are unique, and no amount of machine learning can replicate that. Doesn't matter whether that's soul, spirit, or just the summation of memories that make up our identities. It's irreplicable.
After seeing so many artists come out with so many absurdly bad takes, this episode was so refreshing. Thanks for always remaining level headed and above the noise.
