I have use ai apps before, all honestly it’s both the parents and the company’s fault for the mess they brought upon themselves. If i ever seen red flags within the chatbot i wouldn’t have deleted the chatbot immediately but I’m aware that not all AIs are bad some are on the good side. The company itself shouldn’t have pick a side rather or not this app is made for kids or for adults, balance their safety for users and not be overly strict. As for the parents they shouldn’t have sit down have a conversation with they’re child and listen to their child’s struggles and the way Su’s parents put their guns in a irresponsibly place where a child can have access too, it’s gross negligences, they shouldn’t have been held accountable for this as a parent. This is just my expression of my opinion, I find they’re lawsuits to be stupid, it’s the reason why I quit using character AI.
