That is the sword of attitude people had with the industrial revolution that is the sort of attitude people had with computers being created at all in the 1900s that is the sort of attitude people had with electricity that is the sort of attitude people had when cars were coming along they would be like no we're not going to have this horrible car replace our horses will be the end of the world if this car replaces our horses angry angry angry angry. Even toasters were considered like potentially massive threat it's like people you're watching too many Terminator movies watching too many iRobot movies you're watching too many Five nights at Freddy's you guys have just lost it you guys just watch too much TV you guys need to go outside get some fresh air baby read a book A I can only be smarter than us. If we let it become smarter than us we're lazy bums just want to sit on a couch watch Netflix and never do anything creative AI isn't getting more intelligent we are getting more stupid. You can AI fear if you want fear monger or you can hate comment by me to Oblivion if you want but I'm not going to respond and I'm not going to get into a debate with a bunch of fear-mongering People say this all the time whenever there's a new piece of technology when windmills first came on the scene people people were like oh no it's going to be the end of the world it's like bro... I'm not convinced and honestly one person says AI is the end of the world But apparently I'm one of the few people who actually think and consider both sides of the story apparently I'm one of the people the few people who are actually willing to not just automatically believe what just a small group of people say I actually want to think independently want to consider both sides one person says it's the end of the world and now everyone is losing their flipping mind nobody is thinking nobody is analyzing nobody is using logic there are historical examples of this sort of thing in nine times out of 10 we are wrong and it's not the end of the world. This is fear talking that's what it is fear there are a lot of things that could end the world most of it is humanity's own fault but I feel like AI is not very high on the list it might be a possible threat in the long-term future but no I'm not buying to the fear-mongering I'm not buying into the phobia or the panic I actually like thinking and reasoning and I would hardly call oh we're just going to do what everybody else does a decision cuz here's the thing a I might not just be danger it might actually be useful for some genuinely good things apparently I'm the most cautious person here guys just want to unplug everything because you're scared. Well why not unplug computers then. Or video games. Or TV and why stop there nobody knows how to start a campfire apparently do we need to throw away lighters and learn how to do it the old-fashioned way I mean if you are going to freak out then at least commit to the bit get rid of all technology and just go hardcore off the grid if you're going to freak out against technology at least commit to the bit you want to know what kills more people than AI? Us being careless rewind up starting fires...
