Most manufacturing lines in the US have people working around them. Some of the larger manufacturers have integrated machines to replace select positions. Machines have existed for decades to do all of these job yet investment is expensive. To believe that AI will evolve to a point where machines are created to replace these workers at a reasonable cost is 30-40 years away.
