The problem with AI is the same problem as with any other tech. The executives of so many companies only know how to talk to shareholders, the press, and to the angel and venture capitalists. They do not understand the tasks their employees do every day. They lead by intuition and by some set of people management skills they claim to have. Because they do not understand the tasks which need to be completed by the staff, they think the employees are expendable and that their jobs can be done by AI. In fact, both employees and AI are black boxes to them. What I'm saying is that they are clueless.
