"Could be"? If the people involved aren't already wildly aware that AI _will without a doubt_ be smarter than humans, then we need to lock the brakes on right now, because they clearly have no idea what they're doing. True AI will be many magnitudes of smarter, with the ability to research and learn new topics that would take a human years, in seconds.
