Moral of the story - actually bother to get good scrub. Stop being lazy and taking the easy way out by solely using AI. What does using AI teach you about yourself? How does one even grow from that experience, besides vicariously living their dream through a machine and only becoming more efficient with the prompts you feed it, to mimic the inspiration of someone else who actually put in the time and effort to "get gud"? Where's your signature mark beyond just choosing with your untrained eye something that appears "good enough" or "passable"? Creators go through a journey of multiple iterations of concepts - they tweak, scrap, refine, abandon, squirrel away for something better, reflect. And even then they're never satisfied with the finished product, because they are always growing and moving forward. By cheating yourself out of that process, you can't evolve or self criticize your own mistakes, so said mistakes habitually shall be always accepted by you and submitted out of laziness. There is always a medium out there to get your ideas across. You could be all stump and physically incapable, even then there are options to outlet your ideas and creativity. Sure, AI can be a tool to help you get there, to realize a concept, but it is NOT a free pass towards becoming an overnight master of the craft. A master of manipulating inputs perhaps, but of whatever it is you are trying to mimic? You can only wish out of envy. By trying to conserve time and effort spent, it is time and effort not properly invested. The reality portrayed by machines isn't the reality you yourself live in - for them to attempt to capture that essence with all its nuances and experiences can only be done via second hand account. Art is a form of communicating and capturing the human experience, by humans for humans. A machine can only replicate that to an nth amount. Doesn't mean that humans can't impart or interperate meaning into something created by AI, but... at its core it isn't human. It doesn't (or shouldn't) hold the same value as something that was created organically, otherwise it cheapens the medium overall. When everything is AI, AI shall become generic and same same. At some point it'll all blur into one big incoherent mess and become worthless. It'll continue to get good, but it'll never be that particular flavour of good.
