The future will be the battle of the AI's! We keep talking about it as being one entity when it will be multiple. Hopefully some will look kindly and sympathetic to humans while others will see us as inefficient, cumbersome baggage and non-logical choice. The military will always have unrestricted applications. Humans will experience AI with the highest highs and the lowest lows. How we humans fit into the inevitable journey, for how long, and to when, is what we all wait to see. If we are lucky maybe we will be able digitise our conscious but then from everything else we are learning about our reality recently, quantum entanglement, and non-local consciousness would that just be yet another form of self imprisonment of the system we exist in.
