I have a love hate relationship with A.I. I work with managers who think because they can get A.I to spit out a bunch of code they don't understand and can't even run that they're now programmers. But they'll send me a bunch of code for a project and I'll be like... "This is Java. We're working on a front end web interface. Which is written in JavaScript. They're completely different things." and they really just don't understand the difference because both languages have the word "Java" in their names.
But I love A.I integration into Pycharm, it's like have a glorified Google that helps with a ton of stuff that's not hard, but normally takes me a lot of time, like looking up function calls, API documentation, Example usages and printing reams of documentation for me that's like 80% correct. When used correctly, it massively improves my output. When used by non-programmers it costs me hours of debugging and explaining why the A.I code is insecure, inefficient and just awful for maintainability purposes.
