As a "traditional and digital" artist, I understand the process of finding your own style. I also find the ai stuff both frighteningly useful and damaging. It's not going away but... limits need to be set.
I love the idea and have used Dall-E mini a few times. Imo there is no substitute for "actual" art. Always some weird magic in them. Then again, I'm a guy still buying paperback books.
