“Human values?” lol, humans do terrible things to get and maintain all sorts of power, and we are actually lucky we exist still.
The ‘60’s book Colossus probably predicts our being disappeared by AI. I think we roller at risk now because people think that AI means that it fact checks everything and the outputs are true, but their source is the same source you get when you search the Internet and look how reliable that is just because AI said so, but it is wrapped in a veil of authority.
