question: what makes you think a machine can't be conscious though? 4 years ago we would have never imagined that AI could do any of the things it could do today, and be more intelligent than 99% of the population. there are an increasing number of studies that show striking similarities between how LLMs work and how human brains process information. what if consciousness is also just an emergent property that can be replicated in AI?
