Gabi, thank you for making this follow-up video! This is something that artists have been dealing with for a long time in different forms. Sites like deviantart have a new button that lets you “choose” whether to allow your art to be AI-referenced, but this isn’t foolproof. Bad actors often claim to be a specific artist and upload to AI and N*F*T sites illegally. It’s VERY hard to ensure your work/files aren’t used by someone else to trying to scam others. I’m a small artist (<1000 followers) and someone stole the digital file of a painting I did and put it up as a N*F*T— funny thing is, it’s a physical watercolor painting and I still have the original. I was able to get it taken down, but this really does hurt the little guys. Don’t underestimate the Bad Actor’s determination to make a quick buck.
