I think we'll get AI smarter than humans themselves would be dumber than previous people, because now it is. We can see people are getting dumb day by day using Chan GPT for stuff that they could already do. For example, writing an essay, writing an article. People could already do that, but they are asking chatgpt to do that. So now they are losing the skill of writing themselves and learning skills like how to write, how to ask chatgpt to do stuff
